I've always been fascinated by art in every shape or form but recently my attention has been drawn to making somewhat realistic scenes about nature environments as the one showed in my project that portraits a landscape of a lake surrounded by a huge and beautiful mountain.
To achieve what I've been trying to portrait in my scenes I've been following an online course on cg boost and I can't be more excited.

For this scene I intent to do a desert environment with dunes on the front and maybe some rock formations in the back. For now I've been playing with the nodes in blender to give the appearance of dunes to a plane. This is my first time using nodes and it's been quite interesting getting to understand how to use them properly but for now I think it's been going well.
I'm not nearly done with the final set up but I guess it was time to document my progress in hopes of keep track of my evolution as an artist and game developer & designer.
